The Second Biodiversity WG meeting in Odessa, September 4 - 5, 2008

On the 4th-5th of September, 2008 the Second Meeting of the Regional Biodiversity Working Group took place in Odessa. The ECBSea project experts, representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection in Ukraine, Permanent Secretariat of the Black Sea Commission and Advisory Group on Biodiversity Conservation, and also of the beneficiary countries have participated in it.   See more

The ICZM Working Group Meeting in Tbilisi, 9 July, 2008

The Working Group is co-chaired by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources and the Ministry of Economy of Georgia and was set up as the initiative of the EU-funded project "Environmental Collaboration for the Black Sea" (ECBSea) with the aim of developing this National ICZM Strategy and coordinating the overall integrated management process in a coastal area of Georgia. With the approval of the present draft version, a milestone has been reached. During the coming two months, the document will be widely disseminated to the public and governmental departments not yet involved in the drafting process.   See more
